Setting up the Fly Jar is easy. Simply unscrew the cap, add warm water up to the line with the fly attractant inside, and screw the cap back on. Place the trap outdoors in your desired location. The Fly Jar is reusable. Once the jar is filled with bugs, empty the contents, add fresh food-based lure and water, and start catching flies again. Refill lures are available for sale.

For optimal results, install the Fly Jar in sunny areas where direct sunlight can enhance its effectiveness. Avoid using it in windy areas as this may scatter the flies. While the lure is effective immediately, patience is key as extra time will make the flies even more attracted to the trap.
